FAQ
How long does a fitting take?
A first fitting for a made-to-measure garment usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, where we take full measurements and talk through fabric and style. Alterations and simple fittings are usually quicker, often done while you wait for straightforward jobs.
Do you keep my measurements?
Yes. Once you have had a fitting with us, your measurements are kept on file, so repeat orders (a second shirt, a matching jacket, a uniform re-order) do not need a full re-measure unless your size has changed.
Do you offer standard sizes?
We stock ready-made items in standard sizing where relevant, but our tailoring counter is built around custom and made-to-measure work. If something off the shelf does not fit quite right, we can usually alter it or make it to your measurements instead.
How long does it take to tailor my garment?
Turnaround depends on the garment and how busy the workshop is, but most alterations and simple custom pieces are ready within a week. More involved made-to-measure work, like suits and formalwear, takes longer, and we will give you a realistic timeline at your fitting.
